Dell is currently looking for a Senior Principal to join their Healthcare Provider Management Consulting Team to lead their Optimization efforts. This role requires 
75% travel to client locations throughout the United States.
Role Responsibilities
– Practice leader driving the growth of our implementation and optimization efforts of clinical information systems to support excellence and advancements in patient care
– Provide results-oriented leadership by overseeing the planning and management of client relationships and project activities at our various client sites
– Forecasting for the Optimization Practice area as well as managing the Practice geography P&L
– Generation of new client leads for Dell, as well as creation/management of proposals for clients
– Collaborating with senior customer decision makers to define and implement clinical/business and IT strategies
– Prioritization of work and the coordination of resources across multiple, complex projects
– Ensuring that practice standards are met
– Building a reliable Client Executive and Project Management team
– Engage functional, industry or process subject matter experts when needed in identifying and developing an appropriate customer business solution
– Promote adoption of new clinical information system in the multiple healthcare settings including community and academic hospitals, multi-facility health systems, and ambulatory practices
– Advocate process change with an understanding of problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment
– Tailor and apply proven Organizational Change Management methodologies to specific customer situation
– Develop and apply specialized knowledge and expertise in electronic medical record implementation
Requirements
– 10+ years knowledge of hospital and clinic operations ideally within a consulting organization
– 6+ years leadership experience within a healthcare consulting environment
– Experience with large-scale Epic and/or Cerner implementations
– Program Management or Clinical Application Leadership experience over numerous Clinical Application Implementations at a client site, including installs (development, staffing, etc.), go-lives, optimization and support
– Track Record generating and managing revenue of millions of dollars per year as well as a large P&L
– Thought leadership and ability to contribute to the ongoing development of the company’s proprietary methodology and business processes used to provide successful technology-enabled solutions
– Able to develop and speak as an authoritative figure at conferences, meetings, and national events
– Able to create proposals, participate in presentations, and sell consulting work
– Able to build relationships, identify consulting opportunities, leverage xLOS resources, and enhance the image of Dell as a tier 1 consulting firm
– Championing strategies that measurably improve system-wide performance
