Featured Health IT Job: Independent Sales Rep

Every so often we like to feature a healthcare IT job that might be of interest to readers. Today, we’re featuring the Independent Sales Rep job that was recently posted on Healthcare IT Central. The job is listed as confidential since they’re a startup that wants to keep things quiet, but we know who they are and what they’re doing and so we thought you might want to take a look.

This position is at a startup company in New York that’s doing some pretty interesting things in the patient engagement space. Here’s a look at what they’re looking for from this position:

We are looking for ISRs for our Digital Health Platform.

The company is expanding its sales force nationwide.
We provide digital health solutions to both healthcare providers and patients.

The product is unique in that, it is the answer to the roadblocks such interuptions in care continuum created by the EHR/EMR vendors’ lack of interoperability. Our web based platform also provides other features such as online appointment bookings, messaging services with the healthcare providers, PHRs, online social community for patients, medical literature, and more.
This is a great opportunity for an existing independent sales representative who already has a “Book of Business” with an established territory, and who would like to add to expand his/her current product offerings.

No doubt this is an early stage startup opportunity and not for the faint of heart. However, if you’re a great salesperson, then this could be a great opportunity for you to get in on the ground floor of a digital health startup company.
