The big annual HIMSS conference in Orlando is only 17 days away. For those not familiar with the event, it brings together 40,000-50,000 healthcare IT professionals in one location along with ~1300 vendors. It’s a massive event and what I call the mecca of Healthcare IT.
As part of the conference, HIMSS always has a dedicated career space for those health IT professionals looking for a job. While we’ve never participated in the HIMSS career space in past years, this year our partners 4Med asked us if we wanted to take part in a meetup with a great panel of healthcare IT professionals. We quickly said, Yes!
If you’ll be at HIMSS and you’re someone looking for a health IT job or someone that’s looking for qualified health IT candidates, join us on Tuesday, 2/21 from 4:00-5:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency Orlando (Location of the HIMSS Career Fair), Booth #12 where we’ll be discussing “Strategies to Enhance Your Professional Profile.”
Participating in the meetup are Wendy Whitmore from 4Medapproved, Jeff Cunio from Pivot Point Consulting (A Vaco Company), Christine “Chris” Hutchison from Encore (A Quintiles Company), and John Lynn from HealthcareScene.com. This panel should provide those in attendance a great mix of useful ideas and perspectives.
The meetup is free to attend, but please do register so we know how many people to expect. Also, the meetup is happening during the HIMSS Career Fair social hour so there will be food and drinks available.
