To summarize my observations on the delay at HIMSS12, there is CLEARLY a difference of opinion between the IT and coding communities (HIMSS, AHIMA, etc.) and the Physicians. IT is strongly saying MOVE FORWARD with Oct 1 2013. Physicians are saying WE ARE NOT READY.
