Here’s a description of the position:
Qualified candidates will oversee entire IT infrastructure, which encompasses four major sites and 2 small satellite offices. Merge Healthcare and MModal are the primary products for the organizations enterprise applications: CADStream, Dashboards, Financials, iConnect, PACS, Patient Portal, RIS; MModal Fluency Dictation. Serve as the POC for tier 2 (desktop) and tier 3 (server) support.
Administration
•IT budgeting and procurement.
•Maintain up-to-date IT policies and procedures.
•Manage and maintain IT inventory.
•Manage software and outsourced vendors for various IT projects.
•Manage employee photo and badging
•Have familiarity with graphics design.
•Maintain and edit contents on the Company websites.Tier 2 Support
•Manage project upgrades involving hardware refresh and software implementation.
•Deploy and configure desktop and workstations.
•Manage outsourced vendor to configure and maintain network security and compliance.
•Direct and coordinate the planning, design, research, and acquisition of new facilities concerning network infrastructure, servers, workstations and various peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware.
•Build, configure and maintain desktop images for Windows 7 and Windows 10Tier 3 Support
•Run CAT cabling for new Ethernet drops
•Clean and Maintain server rooms at four major sites
•Configure and maintain server and workstation Group Policies
•Configure and maintain WSUS
•Maintain and build VMs on VMWare server
•Maintain and configure backups within Veritas Backup Exec
•Maintain Active Directory
•Deploy and configure servers
