Featured Health IT Job: Oncology Application Analyst

Here’s a description of the position:

Oncology Application Analyst – Full-time job Southern MA / RI area (Epic Beacon or will train/certify!)

Up to 2 days per week can be remote / work from home.

Our client is in need of a senior level Clinical Application Analyst with experience in analysis and build of Oncology applications. Epic Beacon certification and experience is preferred, but if you have application design / build experience with another Oncology system (Meditech, Cerner, Varian, etc) you will be considered and receive training/certification on Epic.

This is a great place to work, friendly and cohesive team, and they are extremely advanced in their meaningful use of clinical systems. In this position you will get to be part of the systems planning and decision making, and to wear multiple hats. You will never feel bored, or like you are doing the same thing over and over!!!!

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate is one who is comfortable working in various capacities from facilitating project meetings to working with technical concepts. They possess an ability to work with diverse groups of users on complex clinical projects. Must be able to translate technical concepts to non-technical users and apply them to enhance clinical workflows.

–         Experience in the healthcare environment with “big picture” knowledge of operations and structure

–         Prior experience with implementing/configuring/supporting vendor supplied Oncology software in a large healthcare facility

–         Must be able to communicate with a wide variety of end users, with varying skill levels

–         Function effectively in a fast paced-environment and meet deadlines.
